How to get to Siena on your own

The road by car from Florence to Siena will take about an hour and a half, but this method is suitable only for travelers with the rights and the desire to be able to stop photographing landscapes along the way.

The most comfortable way to get to Siena from Florence by public transport is by train.

By train

A regional train runs from Siena Novella Station in Florence every hour to Siena. Ticket price 9.10 euros, travel time 1 hour 28 minutes.

From rome

From Rome to Siena, public transport can be reached by bus or train. The road will take about 3-4 hours.

By bus

FlixBus buses run from Rome to Siena - this is the cheapest, fastest and most comfortable way to get there. Tickets cost from 5 euros if bought in advance. The buses have internet, I recommend. The bus schedule from Rome to Siena is presented below:

How to get from Milan to Rome

By bus
